The Rev. Anthony Savel entered the ministry as a second career and now, after completing seminary, serves as the curate of the Episcopal Cathedral in Milwaukee.
Life is simple for Fr. Anthony (although fraught with doubts of his calling) until the Dean of the Cathedral (“Double D” behind his back) is found murdered on the night of the Bishop’s funeral.
With the assistance of Detective Thomas Stavlo, Miss. Avery, and Zeke (his faithful, yet not so bright standard poodle), Jr. Detective Savel sets off to discover who the murderer is, while at the same time, growing to a deeper understanding of who he is.
